Have you heard? There’s a new farmers’ market in town!
Last Sunday, Concord Township kicked off a new farmers’ market to make supporting local growers, makers, and artisans easier for you. I gave you a heads up about it a couple of weeks ago and am pumped to introduce you to Emma Leuschner, Special Events Coordinator for Concord Township, who organized this event.
Check out the video to hear more from Emma about how she brought it all together and how you can support the market to ensure it becomes a fixture in the community.
For now, the market will take place on all four Sundays in June. If it goes well and vendors want to continue, Concord can extend the market through the summer. However, that means you and your neighbors need to head to the market and support our amazing local producers and artisans.
Come on out to support our community and help make this a lasting and recurring event for our area. There are so many reasons why supporting local small business is good for the local economy and the planet!
A few of the vendors you’ll find at the market!
Ramsey’s Farms
Renegade Flower Farm
Middle Brother Coffee
Properly Pressed (cold-pressed juice)
Traditional Greek Sweets
Zunino Mushroom
Great Farm Tomatoes
The D3LCO Effect (candles)
Chic Crochet Co.
Rachel Kohl Seed Library (selling starter plants)
WasteWell Composting
and many more!
Be there or be square.
